Jaguar
Nation

An invitation, not a courtesy. Saturday, October 24, 2026, 2:00 PM CT, Reliant Stadium in Houston — with a reserved visitor block, open tailgate lots, and 255 miles of I-10 in between.

Four reasons

Why Baton Rouge
should travel

A homecoming crowd with one side full is a bad afternoon for everybody. Here is the practical case for filling the other half.

255 mi

Closer than most road games

Baton Rouge to Houston is 4 hr 15 min on I-10 West with no turns worth mentioning. Leave after breakfast, make the tailgate by noon, and you can be home the same night if you want to be.

Held

A real visitor section

The Jaguar Nation block sits on the visitor sideline across both the 100 and 500 levels. It is held for Southern travellers rather than released to general sale, so chapters arriving together are seated together.

Indoors

No weather gamble

Reliant Stadium has a retractable roof. Late-October Houston can do anything it likes and the game is unaffected — which matters when you are asking people to commit to a four-hour drive weeks in advance.

Both

Two bands, one field

The Human Jukebox and the Ocean of Soul in the same building on the same afternoon. Halftime is not a break at this game, and everyone in the building knows it.

Getting here

One interstate.
That is the whole trip.

I-10 West the entire way — Baton Rouge to Houston, no turns worth mentioning.

Drive

255 mi

Straight down I-10 West. Leave Baton Rouge by 8 AM Saturday and you are in the tailgate lot before noon.

Charter bus

20+ seats

Chapters travelling together can request charter coordination and a drop-off at the stadium gates through the group form.

Fly

1 hr

Baton Rouge Metro (BTR) connects to Houston Hobby (HOU) and Bush Intercontinental (IAH). Hobby is closer to the stadium.

Where to stay

Medical Center / Stadium Park
Walk or a single METRORail stop from the stadium. Books out first.
Downtown Houston
Red Line straight to Stadium Park. Best if you want a night out after the game.
Museum District
Between campus and the stadium, quieter, and close to the Third Ward events.

Tailgating

Both sides in the same lot

Reliant Stadium lots open four hours before kickoff and Jaguar tents are welcome and expected. Chapters wanting space near each other should say so on the group form — tent and banner placement is coordinated in advance, not on the morning.

Jaguar seat list

Claim a spot in the visitor block

The block is held on the visitor sideline, and how much of it we hold depends on how many Southern fans tell us they are coming. Add your seats and you get the price sheet and presale code the hour they are released.

Official ticketing by TIXR. Tickets bought anywhere else are not guaranteed for entry.
